Quick Update and Sorry

I just wanted to say sorry for not posting for about a week or so. I had finals this week and the post I had planned to do was about my lipstick collection, but then I recently went through my makeup and got rid of quite a few things, so I didn't want to do that post after getting rid of some of them and didn't have time to take new pictures. Hopefully I will have an actual post up soon.

Make-out 2013 (make-up)

Some of you might be confused by the title of this, while others might not be. What I mean is that for the year of 2013 I am putting a limit on how much stuff I can buy.

Here's my limit's:

1) Make up: I am limiting myself to 20 makeup items. They could be individual items or kits. I am not going to count each item in a kit as an individual item because then I buy one kit and them I don't have much wiggle room to buy makeup. Also, if I happen to have bought all 20 items already, then I can only buy something if I am completely out, like concealer or mascara for example. If I am gifted makeup it doesn't count toward this and ipsy bags don't go towards this either.

2) Nail polishes: I am limiting myself to 12 nail polishes. Gifts still don't count along with ipsy. I think/ hope I can do this. I have a lot of nail polish and that's why this is basically for one a month.

3)Hair care items: I am limiting myself to 5 hair care items excluding shampoo and conditioner, still not including gifts or ipsy. This should be easy seeing as I don't buy much hair care items.

4) Fragrances: No more than 5 fragrances, to be honest I think this should be quite easy, so yay!

5) Shoes: no more than 3 pairs of shoes. Some of you may be gasping and clutching your heart at this, I am doing this because I honestly have so many shoes already. I can go over if it is something I actually need, like tennis shoes or something. And so far into this year I have already bought a pair of shoes... so I can only buy 2 more for the rest of 2013 O.o

For all of these gifts I recieve and ipsy do not count towards any of these. Stuff I buy with a gift card gifted to me or not will count.

Some of you may be wondering, what about clothing Sami? Honestly, I don't buy much clothing so I didn't put a limit on it.

I will keep you guys posted on when I buy things that count towards this!

Second Project 10 Pan Update

Update on how far I am on my project 10 pan!

Newly Finished things that you can see more about in my December Empties
Revlon Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake: 1 point
E.l.f Hypershine gloss in Flirt:1 point
E.l.f Shimmer lipgloss in New York City: 1/2 point

E.l.f Complection Perfection and Innocence Blush: 1 point each (2 points)

E.l.f Quad in Nouveau Neutrals (other three colors): 1.5 points
Revlon Colorstay eyeliner: 1 point

 Points from last update: 1.5
Points from this update: 7

 Total Points: 8.5

Also, I gave away a few things I had on my list to use up, those things included:
Nyc Lipstick in 402 Red Flame
E.l.f Shimmer Eyeliner in Iconic Ivory
E.l.f Shadow and Liner Duo in Shell/ Glow
Along with about 5 other things that I didn't include in my project pan but I don't use much or isn't a good color for me.

Along with this I did buy two wet n wild lipstick just the other day, so that can be considered and me failing project 10 pan unless you count the stuff I gave away. Then I didn't fail, unless you counted the Tarte order as my failing. So depending who you are it depends if I failed or not. I will still try (obviously) to use up the stuff I put in my project 10 pan along with my other stuff, but I think this will by my last project 10 pan post. At least for a long time.

December Emties

My December empties!!!! YAY!!! I actually finished a lot of makeup this month, but that probably because of my project 10 pan and they were all almost done anyway...

On to the empties!!

Burt's Bee's Cleansing wipes: I quite like these and I do believe that I already wrote about these in previous empties seeing as I go through about one a month. I do recommend these :)

Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner: I can't say much about this, it didn't do anything super fantastic or amazing. And they test so I wouldn't repurchase.

A razor thing for my Schick Hydro: I like this razor and Schick doesn't test like Venus or other brands. I don't know if I will be including these in the future...

Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Shower Gel: I like the bath and body shower gels, but Sweet Pea is my least favorite scent by Bath and Body Works... sooo yeah.

Bath and Body Works Fresh Picked Raspberries: I quite like Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers and I will continue to buy them when they have their little deal thing going on, and I am not that picky on the scents... so everytime I go I get new scents.

E.l.f Complextion Perfection: This was okay, nothing specktacular, so idk if I will repurchase, but there is a chance I might in the future if I don't find my holy grail face powder.

E.l.f Blush in Innocence: I liked this, the color was super easy to wear everyday, but it wasn't anything special and I like my Nyx Peach more. And on top of all of that they don't make this blush anymore. So I wouldn't repurchase.

E.l.f Quad in Nouveau Neutrals: The colors in this worked extremely well together and also pulled together beautiful looks, but I am glad it is gone. I liked this, but I like my other shadows a lot more. This is great for the price though. Wouldn't repurchase because I didn't love it and because it has parabens.

Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in Navy: If you saw my eyeliner collection post, then you know that the pigmentation on this sucked! I am super glad this is gone, and even if there wasn't a chance Revlon tested I wouldn't repurchase this!

E.l.f Hypershine Lipgloss in Flirt: This was an easy color to wear everyday and I liked the consistency. I was going back and forth on if I was going to Repurchase this or not, but then went on my whole paraben kick thing, and this has parabens, so no repurchasing for me.

E.l.f Shimmer Gloss in New York City: This was nice, not as good as the hypershine gloss, but still good. Wouldn't repurchase though, and I don't think it has parabens.

Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake: Okay, so I own four lip butters, well now three because this is gone, and I like their consistency. Except for this one, I found this one too soft and they color was terrible on me. Both those together did not work for me. So no repurchaseing for me even if Revlon didn't test, I would recommend some other like Berry Smoothie.

Hope you liked,
~Sami
