Top 5 Blushes

Picture heavy post, with slightly bad pictures. But give me space to grow please! I am still new at this... Anyway, On to my top 5 blushes!!!
I also just would like to say that about two months ago I got rid of about 1/3 of my makeup, and so with my blushes I only really kept my favorites. So if I do a makeup collection post soon or a blush collection, you are looking at most of my blushes... so yeah, but I wouldn't put these in here if I didn't love them.
Keep in mind that I am extreamely fair skinned!!
Top (left to right): Elf studio blushes in: Candid Coral, Peachy Keen
Middle: Nyx powder blush in Peach
Botton (left to right): Tarte amazonian clay blush in: Exposed, Dollface

Same as above, just the blushes are open.

Closer up of my two elf blushes
Top: Candid Coral
Bottom: Peachy Keen

Even closer up of Candid Coral: This blush is a very pretty and easy to wear pink with a tiny bit of coral in it, I wouldn't say that this is super corally or anything like that. This is just insanely easy to wear and it is beautiful on.

Peachy Keen: This is a neutral blush, sorta. It does have peach in it, like before, I wouldn't say that it is overly peachy though. This I have hit pan on, or was/ am very close to, when I dropped it one too many times and it broke. It is very fragile now that I broke and it still continures to break. When I went to take swatched after taking this picture it actually broke again! So that is sad, but like the other elf blush this is great for everyday.

Nyx's powder blush in Peach

This picture really showcases the peach of the color, but I wouldn't say that this is a straight up peach color at all, I would say that this is a pink with a decent amount of peach in it. In some lights the peach is almost completely gone though. Like a reacuring theme in my blushes this is great for everyday wear. And as you can see I wore down the top design greatly, there was a small amount of time where this is the only blush I would really use. This blush is one of my top blushes of the five easily.

Tarte amazonian clay blush
Top: Exposed
Bottom: Dollface

Dollface: This is a light pink with a great amount of pigment. In my swatches below it slighly looks like a bright pink. When I use this I use a very little amount because that is simply all I need. this can also look very natural, but if you want something less natural this will also work great for that. I adore this blush XD

Exposed: You can tell this is new, especially if you compare it to the small bit of wear to dollface, even though it is new it is perfect for when I want something that isn't pink. This is a beautiful natural color that I find kind of hard to explain. Wears great and beautifully, and I am actually wearing this today, I applied with a stippling brush (its my only clean blush brush...) It looks great.

Tarte's Dollface: blended out on the left and unblended on the right

Nyx's Peach: Blended out on the left, not blended on the right.

Tarte's Exposed: Not blended on the left, blended on the right.

Elf's Peachy Keen: Not blended on the left, blended on the right

Elf's Candid Coral: Blended out on the left, not blended on the right.

Dollface, Exposed, Peach, Peachy Keen, Candid Coral

September Empties

Sorry again for the lack of post, but school really does have me busy, but I have a little bit of time to do this. I just hope I finish this before I leave. Anyway onto the empties post!

L'oreal eye makeup remover: It removed my makeup and it worked well, it just doesn't take of waterproof makeup. I would not repurchase seeing as L'oreal tests on animals.

Covergirl Lash Blast Volume: I like my revlon mascara better, but this mascara isn't bad. Wouldn't repurchase because Covergirl tests on animals and I like my revlon better.

Shiseido Pureness oil- absorbing sheets: Works well but I don't think it is worth the price it's asking for and I have been liking my up and up ones that are much cheeper, so I wouldn't repurchase.

Jouer lipgloss in Birchbox Pink: Obviously from a birchbox, I really loved the color it is like a bright hot pink color. Wouldn't repurchase thought because I don't get birchbox's anymore and because of the price.

Jouer Lip Enhancer: This is just a lip balm in a tube basically. I did like this and I do have the full size that I used my birchbox points to get it. I don't thnk I would repurchase it after I use up the full size though; I don't agree with the price for the product. It is asking for $12 or $14 for the full size and I don't think I would pay out of pocket for that where I can spend that somewhere else.

Bath and Body Works Creamy Body Wash in Sweet Pea: I liked this, it worked well and it felt nice. I was kind of easy to loose product off the loofa though, also the scent was fine for me in this form. The person whose locker next to me in gym sprays herself with Sweet Pea fragrance mist and it reminded me how this scent is a bit much for me.

Skintimate Shaving Cream in Raspberry Rain: I absolutly loved the smell of this stuff and like I have been saying quite a bit lately, this worked well. I would not repurchase though because either them or their parent company tests on animals. So when I finish my other Skintimate Shaving Cream I will try the eos shaving cream.

Random L'oreal Face Serum Stuff from a magazine: too little product to really judge if it is good or not and also it is L'oreal who tests on animals, so I would not buy.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength Sample: This I really did like, I may buy the full size in the future if I ever convince myself that it is okay to spend $45 on it.... otherwise I really did like this stuff. It made my face smooth and nice XD

See you soon, going to work on more posts to post later so this gap between doesn't happen again.

Sami :)

p.s. I don't know if I ever used my name in a post before...

September Favorites!!

September Favorites!!! Yayy!! So here are a few things I really loved this past month XD

Eyes:
Urban Decay Naked Palette: This month really justified my purchase of this. At first I wasn't too sure about the palette being worth $50, but I absolutely love the colors in this palette and I have been reaching for this a lot this past month. A few of my favorite colors in the palette are naked, buck, sin, smog, and toasted.

Urban Decay Vintage Eyeshadow in YDK: If you saw my last post then you saw that I got these this past month, I put up the post late, but I got this eyeshadow about the beginning of the month. It is gorgous for all over the lid or in the crease or both. Easy to wear and some say that it is a dupe for MACs satin taupe eyeshadow. I do not know if this is true seeing as I own no MAC

Lips and Hair:

B+BW Liplicious lipgloss in Whipped Vanilla: This smells, tastes, and looks amazing. I highly recommend this and this is perfect for everyday wear. It isn't the most opaque lipgloss, but thats okay. It isn't sticky, and the color is slightly more neutral with a little bit of pink in it.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Violet Frenzy: This is a very recent purchase, like a few days ago purchase, but I really like the color, it is a bit more sheer than the bullet, but it still is a beautiful color. I don't know much about the wear time or how it fades or anything.

Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-breakage Hair Serum: I don't know much about hair or how well this works, but I do know that I absolutly adore the smell of this. If you want a indepth review on this I recomend looking elsewhere. Sorry

Face:

E.L.F. Mineral Foundation in Porcelain: I love this for everyday school wear. It looks nice and gives a tiny bit of coverage. I am a bit too lazy to deal with liquid foundation everyday, so I use this because it gives just a  bit more coverage than a normal pressed powder. This doesn't keep me shine free all day though.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in dollface: I adore this blush, it looks fantastic, it's matte which I love, and I think it would be great for all skin tones. It is a bit pricey though which I don't love. I did just buy another color though which might be in next months favorites. We'll see :)

Nyx Powder Blush in Peach: I don't think this is a very peach blush, I see it more as a pink with a tiny hint of peach in it. It is matte which, again, I love and it is perfect for everyday. Its wear time on me actually rivels that of the Tarte blush. I don't know about getting any of the other colors though. If I see a color in person that I really like I think I will buy it.

Up and Up Oil Absorbing Sheets: These work quite well at absorbing what oils I have on my face and I do quite like them. It is by the target brand.

Quick Urban Decay Haul

Lookie what I got from urban decay for only six dollars each instead of eighteen. I understand that these are the vintage eyeshadows, but I thought it would be nice to get these to see how I would like the colors. If I love and adore them and use them up then I will see the reason to pay eighteen dollars for them.
