August Favorites! With pictures?

Yay!! Finally we have pictures and this will be my first favorites for you guys. Anyway I hope you like it XD

Disclaimer: I am by no means an expert on any of these things, especially not foundations.

Face and Nails:

Wet n wild Ultimate Match spf15 liquid foundation in 852A Ivory: There are a few reasons why I really liked this foundation this month. This looks really natural on with giving some coverage, but I would say this is a light coverage foundation. A little about me, a don't need much coverage and I would catagorize my skin under "normal". So I think thats why this foundation is perfect for me. Another thing I liked was that I didn't feel the need to add powder later on in the day cause I felt that I looked a little shiny, so I liked that. Also, a huge thing was that it matches my skin tone!!! Which is great and amazing seeing as I am the palest person I know. A downfall is how to get the product out, it isn't the easiest seeing as the bit where the foundation comes out isn't as big as most so it is slightly difficult to get the product out, but all you have to do is find a way that works for you.

Revlon PhotoReady Makeup in 001 Ivory: Yes, I finally got it and overall I am pretty happy with it. I matches my skin color, it has nice coverage. Something about it that made me kinda iffy about it was that there is a little bit of shimmer in it. It is barely noticable though. It has a pump that I love, but overall I like how the wet n wild looks on me a little more cause it looks a bit more natural, but I like the packaging of the revlon more. It looks nicer and it is much easier to get product out.

Circus by Andrea's Choice in Ringmaster: This is a neon pink nail polish that isn't like the other colors I own. Also, this goes on very nicely and is very pigmented. It also wears very nicely. Don't really know what else to say about it. I got it in my myglam bag and these are not for sale yet.

Wet n wild megalast in 217B Distubia: This is a very dark purply plum kind of a color with some very small purply shimmer in it. I really, really liked the color and I wore it on my toes, so I don't really know the wear on it; it is nicely pigmented.


Eyes:

 

 



E.l.f eyeshadow quad in Nouveau Neutrals: I used this a lot this month and it just creates some of the prettiest looks and for $1 thats awesome. I actually probably wouldn't repurchase this after I finish it though because I would rather go out and try different things.

Nyx single eyeshadow in suade: This is the pretties medium warm brown and I is perfect for warming up looks and things of that nature. It is simply a gorgous eyeshadow.

Wet n wild color icon single in C251A Brulee: This is one of my favorite highlighters that I have found, it is a gorgeous matte cream color that is perfect for what ever look I do.

Revlon Brow Fantasy in Brunette: I didn't really use the gel side of this, so I won't be talking about that here, I am talking about the pencil. It looks really natural and the color fits my brows nicely.

Maybelline Define-A-Brow in Light Brown/ Auburn: This is really nice for me too and this also looks natural on me. This still looks natural with the little bit of red because the red isn't too much and also I have a tiny bit of red in my hair naturally. Will not repurchase though seeing as maybelline does test on animals.

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara: I also really like their grow luschious plumping mascara but I didn't really ever use that this month. These two are probably my all time favorite mascara's because they make my lashes look awesome and I do think that they are actually working and helping my lashes. I absolutly adore this mascare and I really recoment this.

A Quick Update

I haven't posted in a while and that's because of a few reasons. For the past 2 weeks I have had band camp and also I didn't really know what to post. I am thinking of maybe doing reviews, maybe. Also about doing a makeup collect, and hauls when it comes to it. Also, monthly favorites and my favorite, monthly empties XD And hopefully I will find a way to do pictures XD

Quick update to my july empties. If you read that post you might have noticed I said I would repurchased the neutrogena face towelette thing, but actually I wouldn't, not anytime soon because their parent company tests on animals :(

Okay, so I am going to apologize right away and say that I don't have pictures, hopefully for next month I will. So lets jump into this picturless post shall we?

~Rimmel London's Fix and Perfect Face Primer in 001- I liked this, I did, but I will not repurchase because I am trying to stay away from brands who are not cruelty free and unfortunatly this brand doesn't fit that. Also if you get it I recomend getting it in 002 where it doesn't have a tint, even though the tint does dissapear you can say, but it worried me and my pale skin when I saw it.

~Liv Grn- earth shower gel- I liked it, but I don't think the 3.4 fl. oz. are worth $15, but I got this for my birthday the cheaper way. In a gift set!! I, myself, really like the perfume and I wanted the lotion to go with it, so it just seemed the smarter way to get the gift set at $80 when the perfume itself is $60. ~Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 110 Ivory- I really did like this, I may repurchase it in the future, but for right now I want to try the Revlon Photoready next, mainly because of the pump and I am lazy XD Alright bact to the foundation, I actually only used half of it, but I had it for about a year and I don't feel comfortable with keeping my foundation longer than that. But I would recomend this product and so far this is the only thing that I am thinking about repurchasing, that may change and I may have more, but who knows!!!

Okay so as you can see I found what I wrote before my computer shut down... after I already rewrote this!!! ARGG! Sadness. Anyway incase you wanted to see this. Oh, and tell me if you guys like this better or the short and sweet ones? Combo of the two?

July Empties!!

ARGGGG!!! So I was typing this for you guys right? My computer shut down in the middle of writing it so for the first three things it will be really short and sweet cause I don't want to rewrite all that I wrote for them -.- Also, I want to apologize for there being no pictures, but hopefully there will be pictures by next month!!

~Rimmel Londons Fix and Perfect Face Primer in 001- I liked this, won't repurchase because they are not a cruelty free brand I am trying to stay away from cruelty free brands. If you want to get this I suggest getting 002 because 001 has a tint to it.

~Liv Grn- earth shower gel- I liked this again, wouldn't repurchase because it isn't worth $15 for 3.4 ounces, I suggest getting the gift pack for $80 if you like the scent though seeing as the perfume is $60. The website by the way is livgrn.com

~Revlon Colorstay Foundation- yes I would repurchase I just want to try the Revlon Photoready first, also I didn't finish the whole bottle, but I don't feel comfortable using it after a year of having it.

~Bath and Body Works Pleasures Moisturizing Conditioner in Sweet Pea- I got this for my birthday, I like it's nice, but I am not going to repurchase anytime soon as I want to try more from the drugstore and things. This is $7.50 by the way for 12 fl. oz

~VMV Hyperallergenics all-over gently exfoliating lotion- I got a sample of this in a birchbox a while ago, no I wouldn't repurchase it, I was nice though.

~Suave Skin Therapy Natural Oatmeal Moisturizer- I would not repurchase, at first I really liked it, but then when I started using a different lotion then came back to this one I realized how slippery this is and how long it takes to absorb into the hands

~Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream- I also got a sample of this in a birchbox, and I LOVE the smell of this, but I am not going to buy it just for the smell. I liked this, but I don't think I want to pay the price this asks for.

~Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes- I liked these, they feel nice and they do what they say, I would repurchase :)

~Yes to Cucumbers soothing hypoallergenic Facial Towelettles- I didn't like these as much as the neutrogena, so I will not repurchase

~Freeman Facial Hydration Mask in Goji Berry- I love the smell of this and the product is nice, and so is the price, the only thing that is keeping me from repurchasing it is that it has parabens. Sadness

~Murad Eye Lift Perfector- Got a really tiny sample of this and I don't know if it did anything and I don't think I will purchase any time soon.

So that ended up with all of them being short and to the point, if my computer didn't shut down they are would be at least twice the length. If you guys like it short and to the point I can keep it that way though.

SMALL UPDATE ON MY NOT PROJECT PAN!
I hit pan on a elf eyeshadow, I am almost finished with a cream eyeshadow that I hit pan on before I started this, I am done with my lipstick catagory because I am getting rid of a lipstick because the smell is different than the other lipsticks I have by them and it unnerved me. Also I got a chapstick, I am still goint to work on finishing three, but I needed this chapstick for the spf and the fact on how bad my lips have been these past few days. They have been horribly chapped around the edges so I stole one of my dads unopened Blistex.
